If you could get a horse ready, I'd like to ride with you if that's okay. I'd just drive one of my own into a hedge, and it's about a half-day's walk from the Station Ring to the Station itself without one.

[She doesn't get to this until a day or so later after the feast, well under way into her journey, though she does pause.]

I'm currently traveling along the Eastward Road from the Station. No special abilities; swordswoman and archer.

[Does her magic count as special? Not really since she's only starting to learn and hasn't gotten very far yet.]

Aye, I've been doin' fine I suppose. Th' dogs were a pain but...they were handled.

[he had caught a glimpse of a few fears around the network, but they weren't his business. ever since his memory broadcast he's steered clear of any extremely personal reveals.]

[Korra? that name sounds familiar to him, so much so that he repeats it back to Merida absentmindedly.]

[he sighs in relief. he doesn't want to risk anyone being hurt, let alone betraying his promise to the Black Shuck.]

Mnh. I'm travelin' this month. I need tae learn tae protect myself better.

[ben can't help with that, at all. but he's sure there are people offering lessons.]

I'll fight air if I have tae. I'm meetin' a girl at a place called th' Barrel for a spar an' archery lessons in exchange for magic lessons though.

Magic? You can learn it, just like that? Ain't gotta be no [god, saying this sounds so weird to him:] wizard?

Doesn't sound like it. I started learnin' from Lady Morgana but some of her methods were...I didn't get very far. I'm hopin' that th' lass I'm meetin' with has a different method.
