Available AUs:

Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons: exactly what it says on the tin
Fate/: Merida is a Servant, either Saber or Archer class. Appearing slightly older than her canon appearance, Merida hails from the 11th century in Scotland, from a tale called the Bear and the Bow which was reimagined by Disney. While not as famous as other Servants, she's still quite acknowledged considering her presence in the world as a Disney Princess, although the Disney version doesn't mention the fact that she failed to turn her mother back. Bears are her motif, having spent the better part of her life as Queen protecting her people from Mor'du and Elinor, and died with regret. Her greatest wish is to reverse the spell and give her mother peace. More details here.
Percy Jackson: Hunter of Artemis, with similar background to the Fate/ AU. Became a hunter to protect her people and others from Elinor, who roams the world in bear form, having appeared in North America most recently.
Legend of Korra: daughter of a prominent political family with fire and earthebnder history. Elinor is an earthbender by birth and metalbender by practice that she keeps on the downlow in order to reinforce her political dealings as a peacekeeper, Fergus is a nonbender. Hamish and Hubert are firebenders while Harris is an earthbender. Merida herself is an earthbender, with lavabending as her secondary.

Threadhopping/jacking: I don't mind, but please be mindful of how long it goes for. It does get annoying when there's constant pings in my inbox.

Fourthwalling: always up for talking about the Scots, but not her particular canon. ON THE OTHER HAND, if you have a character from Scottish/Irish/English folklore and are from before her canon (mid ninth century/1066), she might have heard of them in legends or tales told by her mother. If this is okay, gimme a holler, and if it's not, please tell me before I make assumptions :3

Triggers: not too fond of gore and the like oocly, so as long as it's not heavy on the imagery it's cool. I'm completely fine with writing it out, but sometimes I get squeamish.

Kissing this character: Since in game development, she's comfortable with kisses.

Flirting with this character: Sure. She's actually quite well receptive to flirtation considering who she's dating, and she has no qualms about gender.
